Ultra-lightweight construction

The TiLite Pilot combines aluminium construction with lightweight carbon fibre frame panels. Permobil describes the design as approximately 50% lighter, helping children manoeuvre the wheelchair more easily during everyday activities.

Its transport weight is approximately 5 kg, depending on the selected dimensions and components.

Carbon fibre frame panels

The carbon fibre side panels contribute to the wheelchair’s lightweight construction while providing clear access to adjustment hardware.

The seat pan and side-panel design allow clinicians and caregivers to access adjustment bolts without unnecessarily restricting rear-wheel access.

Lever-actuated wheel locks

When mounted higher, the levers are easier for the child to reach. When mounted lower, they remain out of the way during fast or active propulsion.

Quick-release rear wheels

Quick-release rear wheels simplify transport and storage by allowing the wheels to be removed without tools.
