When it’s time to remove or adjust the back, the one-handed latch mechanism makes it easy. Open the caps, slide the back out—it’s that simple. The caps remain open until the system is fully detached, streamlining removal even for users with limited hand dexterity. Orange safety indicators clearly alert users if a latch is unsecured.

• Seat depth adjustments are easily achieved without special parts. You can increase posterior depth or reduce anterior depth by simply reversing the hardware.
• Angle, width, height, and depth adjustments can all be made while the user remains seated, improving workflow and precision.
• Once secured, Cane Brackets and Adjuster Plates lock in place to prevent movement, even under shifting body weight during daily activities.

To safeguard users during posture shifts and extended activities, the Icon™ Tall Back features a reinforced rollover cushion. Secured inside the cover, this cushion protects the skin from direct contact with the hard shell edges—preventing pressure points and increasing comfort during movement.

Under the surface, the VARILITE air-foam cushion blends sculpted, multi-stiffness foam with an adjustable two-way air valve. This ensures a personalised fit that conforms to the user’s spinal contours without bunching.
