The RGK Tiga Sub4 is an ultra-lightweight, made-to-measure rigid manual wheelchair designed for active users who prioritise effortless propulsion, easier transfers and exceptional portability.
Made-to-measure construction
Every Tiga Sub4 is built around the individual user, with more than 30 personal measurements considered during the assessment and manufacturing process.
This made-to-measure approach creates a compact wheelchair designed to support the user’s body dimensions, balance, posture and propulsion requirements.
Aerospace-grade aluminium frame
The frame is manufactured from 7020 aerospace-grade aluminium, selected for its combination of strength, durability and lightweight performance.
An optimised single-tube design, low-profile cross braces and hollow-forged castor arms help reduce unnecessary weight while maintaining frame rigidity.
Designed for efficient propulsion
The Tiga Sub4 is configured to support effective biomechanics and efficient power transfer. Precise wheel alignment helps minimise toe-in, toe-out and rolling resistance, while the rigid frame reduces energy loss during propulsion.
This allows the user and wheelchair to work more closely together, helping reduce the effort required for everyday mobility.
Lightweight Frog Legs castors
Specially designed 4″ x 1.25″ Frog Legs castors with aluminium centres contribute to the wheelchair’s low overall weight while supporting responsive handling.
The castor assembly also includes precision components designed to promote accurate alignment and smooth performance.
Titanium hardware
Corrosion-resistant titanium fasteners and sleeves are used throughout the wheelchair to reduce weight while maintaining strength and durability.
The optimised axle and wheel-pin arrangement also contributes to the Tiga Sub4’s compact, lightweight design.
