The QS5 X offers easy propulsion and lifting thanks to its lightweight aluminum frame. Made from heat-treated 7000 series aluminium for strength without added weight, it provides effortless maneuverability and efficient transfer of push to the wheels. The ovalized tubing of the cross-brace makes the QS5 X less likely to flex under pressure providing the superior rigidity and reduced flex.

Lifting is a breeze
At a remarkably low transport weight from 7.3 kg for the Fixed Front and 7.5 kg for the Swing Away frame, it is the lightest aluminium box frame wheelchair on the market setting a new standard. The optional FOLD-N-LOCK conveniently keeps the chair securely folded with a simple “click”. No need to hold closed while lifting or storing!

Fixed-Front or Swing-Away
The QS5 X is available with two different frame versions – Fixed-Front and Swing-Away.
The Fixed-Front version has footrests that are permanently attached to the chair frame, providing additional stability and support. This feature can be particularly beneficial for people with higher positioning demands, as it helps to keep the legs in an ideal position.
The Swing-Away version has footrests that can be swung away to the side, which enables a safe and comfortable transfer into the chair, especially from a standing position. By removing the footrest, it’s possible to position the wheelchair closer to the object you want to transfer on, and additionally the pack-size of the wheelchair will be minimised.
