The Splash Hip Positioning Belts are an adjustable pelvic support system designed to promote safe and stable seating in wheelchairs, strollers, and other adaptive equipment. Splash Hip belts have an added water-repelling permanent surface coating for better water run-off. They provide comfortable anterior support to the pelvis helping the safety and stability of the individual. Proprietary heavy duty nylon webbing with extra pronounced ribbing combined with robust buckles hold the belt minimize chances of slippage. Markers on the belt stationed every one inch enable an easy measure for symmetrical fitting. The pads are soft, 10mm thick water-resistant neoprene for resilient comfortable protection. All plastic hardware is selected from the YKK range renown for quality and grip. Stainless steel adjusters, mounts and fasteners ensure a durable long lasting service life. Using the Rola-mounts make fitting easy, quick and slip-free.
The hip belt provides the 3rd point of control to the pelvis and is critical to positioning in a wheelchair. Splash hip belts include marking on each belt to help the installer fit the belt symmetrically and also help the carer tension the belt to the same position each time.
