Adaptive temporary solution

All Start models are primarily designed for temporary use. Once usage amounts to several hours per user per day, it is important to seek further advice. A temporary solution should still be adapted to suit the user’s everyday life, for example with height-adjustable push handles for effortless pushing. Even the most minor changes to the configuration can maximise value for users as well as relatives and carers.

Description

The Ottobock Start wheelchairs are a cost-effective mobility solution, primarily designed for temporary use across multiple users. In situations of reduced mobility, they offer individuals the opportunity to regain a degree of independence and mobility support. These wheelchairs are not intended for long-term or independent self-propulsion but are ideal for short-term use in environments such as hospitals, aged care, or rehabilitation settings.
