Boost Glide
The BoostGlide operates like a manual wheelchair, but has a power assist motor to add a new level of independence.
Added benefit of power
When the hand rim is pushed, a drive motor takes over much of the work. It makes uphill climbs a breeze, plus there's a power brake for downhill safety. The battery allows journeys of up to 15km.

Description
Glide’s Power Assist System on the BoostGlide is designed to help you reach new levels of independence. Operates as per normal manual wheelchair but with the assistance of a drive motor. The Power Assist System can be fitted to the Adult range of Glide LightGlide Manual wheelchairs.
- Suited for most – SmoothGlide set ups and may also be retro fitted if you already own a Glide LightGlide.
- Steering System – Steering with hand rim operation
- Brake System – Power Assist braking + manual park wheelchair brake
