Daessy Swing Aside Mount
For greater independence, the user may release the lock pin to swing the mount away. It’s easily removed from the wheelchair and consists of two lengths of stainless-steel tube joined to form a right-angle structure, that is supported on the wheelchair by a frame clamp assembly, which is permanently attached to either the left or right side of the wheelchair. The design of this mount allows use on a tilt seat system.

Manual Wheelchair
The Swing-Aside Mount for a manual wheelchair contains:
- Frame Clamp: Frame Clamp Inner Piece 1″ Round. (Refer to Spare Parts for other frame clamp options. Requires full access to the round tube)
Power Wheelchair
The Swing-Aside Mount for a power wheelchair contains:
- TNUT: Universal T-Nut/+Nut for Power Wheelchair Seat Rails. (Refer to Spare Parts for other TNUT options)
- Seat rail attachment options: Multi-hole 2″ Inner Piece Adapter. (Refer to Spare Parts for other seat rail attachment options)
Right Angle Tube Option
The Swing-Aside Mount Right Angle Tube Option contains:
- Locking Swing Away Outer Piece
- Index Clamp for Locking Swing-Away (not recommended for wheelchairs that have a tilt function).
- Release Cable Assembly with 90° Tube.
Straight Vertical Option
The Swing-Aside Mount Straight-Vertical Option contains:
- Complete Swing-Aside Arm Consisting of a Rotate Head, TGube Mount, 16″ Tube and Release Cable for the Swing-Aside Mount.
- Removable Frame Clamp Receiver
- Removable Outer Piece
