- The Carrot XL is equipped as standard with the low profile wide seat base, large size headrest, shoulder protector wings, and 50 mm backrest extension.
- Extendable shoulder protector wings hold and protect the body from side impacts and centrifugal forces.
- Tether options include additional security tether for the top of backrest or ISOfix latch connectors. These may be required by your local authorities.

Wide Low Profile Seat Base
The Carrot XL base is only 6cm thick and 49cm wide to allow for easy access and transfers in and out of a vehicle.
Ergonomic large head support
The Carrot XL’s ergonomic head support holds the user’s head and protects from side impacts and centrifugal forces.
Correct pelvis alignment
Know that your child has the correct postural alignment whilst travelling with a comfort padded hip belt.
Special large harness design
The Carrot XL has a specifically designed harness for older users that supports the shoulders sufficiently and has easy length adjustment.
Upgrade kit from the Carrot 3000 available
The Carrot XL Upgrade kit can be purchased to upgrade an existing Carrot 3000 Car Seat to an XL version, instead of purchasing a whole new car seat when the child grows out of the existing seat. The kit includes:

- Longer metal rods for base
- H-Harness
- Hip belt
